at that website, click supported hardware, enter your router address and it takes you to your version of dd wrt with instructions, so simple a man could do it

it's software for your router, if you don't have a router get one, it upgrades your router and can allow you to do more with your network such as, add security features, network storage, extend a wireless network, increase network speed, remote access, home servers, etc.

if you have children and would like to filter the insane freaky garbage that's on the net combine dd wrt with http://www.opendns.com/ they work well together, here's instructions
